Burnley are in talks with Wolfsburg over a deal for prolific Holland international striker Wout Weghorst.
The 6ft6′ Weghorst, 29, wants to come to the Premier League and Burnley are trying to agree terms after talks with Wolfsburg initially broke down last week.

The Clarets lost striker Chris Wood (left) to Newcastle when they triggered his release clause
Burnley’s campaign has been beset by postponements and they currently sit bottom of the league with just 12 points, four points from safety.
But having played four less matches than Norwich City, who are sitting in 17th, Burnley boss Sean Dyche knows his side can fire themselves to safety with attacking reinforcements.
Dyche was frustrated to see Wood’s £25million release clause triggered by Newcastle, taking a player who had scored 53 goals in 165 games for them out of the side and into a relegation rival’s line-up.
Weghorst has caught the eye in Germany and he is now ready to cut his teeth in England
Weghorst hit 20 goals in the Bundesliga last term and with Wolfsburg struggling this time round he is now desperate to try his game in England.
The 29-year-old has previously attracted interest from Tottenham but it could be Turf Moor where he gets to cut his teeth in English football if talks progress.
Burnley are also finalising the £7million signing of Dinamo Zagreb winger Mislav Orsic.
