Bruno Fernandes says Man Utd form is "everyone’s fault" amid Solskjaer pressure

Manchester United's dismal Premier League form is 'everyone's fault' according to midfielder Bruno Fernandes – who has supported under fire boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Portugal international, who called for fans to blame the players rather than the manager at full-time, later told the media that a sloppy attitude cost them the points.

Fernandes and United have looked off the pace in recent months despite the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, and now sit 12 points off Premier League leaders Chelsea.

“It’s everyone's fault here, it’s not the coach or one or two players, it’s everyone, everyone has to take the responsibility because everyone has to do better," he said on Saturday.

Before adding: “We did that but just for one half and that is not enough in these kinds of games in the Premier League it’s not enough just to play for one half.

“Watford is a good team, they are aggressive and they have quality up front and you give them chances they will score goals. That’s been a problem for us in many games.

"The attitude in the second half was there, in the first half it was too sloppy from everyone.

"We don’t go on the front foot, we don’t tackle, we don’t win our duels and against these teams, you have to win that, try to keep the same intensity as them and after then show your quality and why you play for Manchester United."

Solskjaer also insisted that their "very bad run" and "bad situation" are a part of football.

"It's a definite big, big challenge for everyone at the club," Solskjaer told Sky Sports after the embarrassing 4-1 defeat.

"The results are not good enough, we know that. Of course something is wrong. I feel for the fans. I feel the same as the fans. We are in a very bad run and bad situation. But that is part of football."

Adding when asked about his future: "I am working for and with the club. Of course we have a good communication and if the club are thinking of doing something that is a conversation between us."

According to the Times, United's board members will take part in a virtual board meeting on Saturday evening that is likely to result in the dismissal of Solskjaer.
