Brentford star’s hilarious TV interview while getting his haircut
Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo is on a tight schedule as he prepares for his club's dream Premier League pursuit.
The Bees finished just short of the Championship automatic promotion places for the second-straight season.
But they now have the chance to achieve their ultimate goal through the play-off system once again.
Boss Thomas Frank is readying his troops to face Bournemouth in the play-off semi-finals, knowing his side are just three games away from their Premier League dream.
Brentford are favourites for a Wembley play-off showdown after finishing 10 points ahead of the Cherries and beating them in both league fixtures.
Mbeumo, who featured in 44 of Brentford's league games this season, has been previewing the play-off campaign and took part in an interview with an unusual setting on French television.
In an interview with RMC Sport, Mbeumo was pictured at the barbers getting his haircut as he set out to look the part in the crucial play-off clash.
Hairdressers officially opened again in England on April 12 after lockdown restrictions were eased so Mbeumo has not been short of time to get a trim.
Mbeumo's Brentford's first-leg play-off tie away to Bournemouth takes place on Monday.
But the 21-year-old Frenchman is making the most of his time as he gets ready for one of the biggest games in his career.
The Bees' home fixture will take place on the following Saturday and the final is scheduled for Saturday May 29.
Meanwhile, Brentford boss Frank says he has a "good feeling" about his side’s play-off pursuit.
He said: “Our points tally would normally be enough for automatic promotion and we have again scored the most goals in the Championship.
