Bournemouth are close to agreeing the £9.5m signing of Roma winger Justin Kluivert.
The 24-year-old looks set to become the club’s first signing under new manager Andoni Iraola, following the Spaniard’s appointment on Monday.
They will pay further £850,000 in add-ons for the Dutch international who is due to undergo a medical on Friday.
The Cherries also retain an interest in Bristol City’s Alex Scott, though his £22m asking price is prohibitive.
West Ham and Wolves are also keen, while Champions League finalists Inter Milan have also asked about the England Under 21 midfielder.

Kluivert, who came through the ranks at Ajax like his father Patrick, has been on a footballing odyssey since leaving his boyhood club in 2018.
Despite being contracted to Roma since then, he has spent single seasons with RB Leipzig, Nice and Valencia, failing to make an impression at any stop.
New Cherries boss Iraola will hope he can get the kind of form out of Kluivert that motivated Roma to snap him up for £15m, as he sets about the difficult task of winning over the fanbase after his shock arrival.
The club were comfortably guided to safety last season thanks to the efforts of Gary O’Neil, who initially took over on a caretaker basis before being rewarded with the full-time gig following a series of impressive performances.
O’Neil’s surprise departure on Monday proceeded the almost equally as shocking announcement that the club had lined up the then-Rayo Vallecano boss to take the reins.
While in the Spanish capital, Iraola led the minnows back into the top-flight in his first season before back-to-back mid-table finishes.
Kluivert is set to join a Bournemouth side whose top scorers were Dominic Solanke and Philip Billing, who each chipped in with seven goals, as the side managed to outscore only three other Premier League teams last term.
