Borussia Dortmund make transfer call amid threat of losing Sancho and Haaland
Borussia Dortmund would rather offload Jadon Sancho this summer as they hope to retain the services of Erling Haaland.
The two forwards are leading lights for the Bundesliga outfit, but both have attracted their fair share of attention.
Europe's heavyweights are eyeing one – or in some cases both players.
Dortmund are ready to receive offers for both players, although they can still dictate their demands with Haaland's release clause not coming into play until next summer.
If they were to lose one they would prefer it to be Sancho, claims Bild.
Manchester United made moves to sign the winger last summer, but were unable to match Dortmund's valuation.
The Germans were seeking more than £100m, but a change in circumstances means they could now accept less.
Haaland has several suitors with United, Manchester City and both Spanish giants all credited with interest.
New Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has also set his sights on a centre-forward and is keen on the Norwegian.
It is understood that failure to qualify for the Champions League could complicate matters however.
The 20-year-old striker is desperate to keep testing himself at Europe's top table.
Should Dortmund fail to qualify for the tournament Haaland may push for an early departure.
Currently they sit sixth in the Bundesliga – six points off the final Champions League place.
Haaland has previously said that he expects Dortmund to be playing amongst Europe's elite "every year".
He again showed his appetite for the big stage when he scored two of his side's three in a win at Sevilla during the week.
Haaland is top scorer in this year's Champions League and has 18 goals in 13 outings throughout his career in the competition.
