Besiktas enquire about Everton’s Damarai Gray as the winger weighs up future with West Ham and Crystal Palace also interested
- Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas have enquired about Everton’s Demarai Gray
- The winger has also interested a trio of Premier League clubs during the window
- Everton had recruited just Ashley Young and Arnaut Danjuma so far this summer
Besiktas are the latest club to enquire about Everton winger Demarai Gray.
The 27-year-old has already been linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer, with West Ham and Crystal Palace all reportedly interested in the attacker’s services.
Now Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas have entered the race as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season.
Gray played 36 times for the Toffees last campaign, scoring 3 goals as Everton battled at the wrong end of the table.
He only has one year left on his current deal, but the Merseyside would likely be reluctant to see the winger leave having already struggled for a creative spark and goals last season.

Sean Dyche would be reluctant to let the winger go as he looks ahead to his first full season
Besiktas finished third in the Super Lig last season, and if Gray does move to Turkey he would follow Wilfried Zaha, who swapped the Premier League for a move to Galatasaray earlier this month.
Everton have so far added Ashley Young on a free transfer and completed a loan deal for Arnaut Danjuma, but Dyche is having to work within budget restraints at the club.
The club have seen a number of experience heads leave Goodison in Yerry Mina, Tom Davies, Asmir Begovic and Andros Townsend and it would be a blow if Gray was the latest name to head for the exit door.
The Toffees are in pre-season action on Saturday when they face Championship side Stoke, before hosting Sporting Lisbon next weekend.
They begin their Premier League campaign with a home clash against Fulham on the first Saturday of the season.
A move to Turkey would see Gray join Wilfried Zaha, who moved to Galatasaray this week
