Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira could also be on his way out with Galatasary in talks to sign him
The German has entered the final 12 months of his deal at Arsenal, having been at the Emirates Stadium since 2018, and Mikel Arteta is now ready to part ways with the goalkeeper.
Leno was the undisputed number one in his first three seasons and started the first three league matches of 2021-22, but then lost his place to Aaron Ramsdale and made only five more appearances in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Arsenal could be set for another outgoing star after opening talks with Galatasary over the sale of Lucas Torreira.
Torreira has not been in Mikel Arteta’s recent plans though he has been back at London Colney
The Uruguayan has spent the last two seasons out on loan with Atletico Madrid and Fiorentina respectively and will be keen on first team football ahead of the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
He has not been in Mikel Arteta’s recent plans though he has been back at the club’s London Colney training complex for pre-season.
Arsenal forward Folarin Balogun also looks to be on his way out after agreeing a loan move to Reims.
