Belgian FA’s job advert for new boss asks for candidates who "know how to win"
Belgium are looking for a new manager following the departure of Roberto Martinez – and they want someone who knows how to win.
That might sound obvious for a team who were well-fancied for the World Cup before crashing out in group stage humiliation, but the Belgian FA have made double sure by putting it in the official job advert.
The Royal Belgium Football Association (RBFA) began the process of finding Martinez's replacement earlier on Tuesday, releasing the job criteria, which seeks to find someone who is "extremely ambitious."

However, the advert also calls for "international experience at top level," ruling out any overly ambitious chancers who have taken Woking to the Champions League on Football Manager.
The statement added: "Even after the early elimination at the World Cup in Qatar, the RBFA remains very ambitious for the future.

"The RBFA is looking for a full-time national team coach who knows how to win."
The requirement for a manager who knows how to win certainly amused fans on Twitter, particularly those with an affinity to the Football Manager series.
One fan wrote: "Maybe it's time for us to test our FM Skill?" As someone else said: "You want Ted Lasso then." A third person wrote: "They posted a job description like it' Indeed."
While a fourth user commented: "Belgium demanding a 'serial winner' manager now is like hiring a bad attorney, losing a case and getting sent to prison, and then looking for proper lawyer who knows how to win cases."
The Belgium FA concluded their job advert by saying: "The new national team coach is extremely ambitious and has the necessary international experience at top level, football tactical knowledge and insights as well as the right personal skills.
"He is a serial winner with experience in managing top players. He knows how to focus on creating a close-knit group and how to integrate young players. The football association is looking for a tactical expert who supports his choices with data, technology and objective parameters and draws on RBFA’s sporting expertise and structure."
Former Wigan and Everton boss Martinez, who left his role as manager of the national team following their World Cup exit, had served as head coach since 2016.
