Bayern ‘battling Liverpool for Raphinha’ could trigger Kingsley Coman to Chelsea

Bayern Munich are reportedly in the running to prise Raphinha away from Leeds this summer – which will come as music to Chelsea’s ears amid their pursuit of Kingsley Coman.

According to reports in Italy, Bayern have thrown their name hat into the ring by declaring their interest in Raphinha, who has registered five goals and as many assists for Leeds this season.

It is believed they will face competition from Liverpool and Manchester United, nevertheless, who are also said to be eyeing up a potential move at the end of the season along with a host of other European clubs.

If Bayern do go after the Brazilian winger, Chelsea could receive the green light to press ahead with a deal for Coman.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Bayern’s French star is at the top of their wish list this summer amid doubts over Christian Pulisic’s future at Stamford Bridge.

Pulisic proved one of the Blues’ standout performers under Frank Lampard last season.

But since Thomas Tuchel replaced Lampard in the hot-seat at the end of January, the American ace is yet to start a Premier League match and has been left out of the squad on two occasions.

Should he decide to push for a move in the summer transfer window, Chelsea officials will reportedly target Coman as their first-choice replacement.
