Barcelona stars’ disgusting food requests included ‘sushi and nutella butty’
Barcelona's iconic 2014/15 season saw their players etch their names into the history books of the club.
Having achieved a second domestic treble in five years, the La Liga giants were on top of the world – a far cry from where the club are now. Despite being the reigning Spanish champions, they've gone on an almost 10-year drought from Champions League triumph.
They've ushered in a new era of young talent in recent years spearheaded by the likes of Pedri, Gavi, Ronald Araujo and 16-year-old Lamine Yamal.

While it's no doubt an exciting time to be a Barcelona fans, supporters of the club surely find themselves looking back to a decade ago and watch in awe of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar. In their trip back to memory lane, the meals eaten by the players were somehow leaked on social media as fans got an insight into the eating habits of their favourite players.
Some of the food choices of the Treble winners are frankly alarming with goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen seemingly enjoying sushi and a Nutella sandwich for his post-match food meal. It's a combination that would leave anybody baffled.

Nutella was certainly a popular choice among the squad with with Gerard Pique and Sergi Roberto both requesting the chocolate spread, The full-back seemed to be a bigger lover of it than others as he explicitly requested a 'triple' Nutella sandwich alongside his sushi.
To the meals of Barcelona's famed trio, the club's greatest ever player in Lionel Messi is a simple and humble man as he requested a plain cheese pizza after a game while Suarez was in the mood for a ham and cheese pizza with a Caesar salad.
Neymar had an identical pizza order to the Uruguayan forward but coupled it with fruit rather than a salad. Fans certainly had a laugh with the list with one X (formerly Twitter) user writing: "Everybody be having long orders, and then there's Messi" with a second user commenting on the maturity of the menu as they wrote: "This is basically a kids menu".
