Barcelona have shortlisted five players for potential loan deals until the end of the season, according to reports.
The Catalan giants’ well-documented financial woes have left them limited in the transfer window.
With reported debts of £1.15billion in August, Barca are unlikely to be able to welcome any new arrivals to the Nou Camp and are under pressure to reduce their wage bill if Xavi wants to change his squad.

New boss Xavi could therefore consider loan moves to bolster his squad while tackling the club’s finances.
Barcelona appear keen to bring in a new left-back in January to see them through to the end of the season.
The LaLiga side have shortlisted Juventus’s Alex Sandro, Borussia Dortmund’s Raphael Guerreiro, Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico, Manchester United’s Alex Telles and Villareal’s Alfonso Pedraza as potential loanees, according to Gerard Romero.

Barca are reportedly considering to bring in two of the targets on temporary deals for six months until the end of the season.
The club signed Sevilla striker Luuk de Jong on a loan deal last summer and Xavi’s faith in the Dutchman has paid off in recent weeks as he has netted three times in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Barca have been linked with a loan swap that could see dangerman Memphis Depay head to Juventus, while Alvaro Morata arrives at the Nou Camp on an initial six-month loan.
