Barcelona could re-sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Chelsea in the summer as a ‘low cost option’.
Aubameyang arrived from the Nou Camp on deadline day in September 2022, but has had a checkered spell in west London.
The Gabonese hitman moved in the hope of reuniting with his former Borussia Dortmund boss, but within six days Thomas Tuchel was sacked by Todd Boehly.
The 33-year-old has since struggled for playing time and spent long periods out of the squad altogether.
However, Barça are open to bringing Aubameyang back if the financial conditions of the deal are favourable, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Aubameyang enjoyed celebrations with his former team-mates after their win in El Clasico
It comes after Aubameyang spent Sunday evening with his former team-mates enjoying post-match celebrations after their last-gasp win over Real Madrid in El Clasico.
In an Instagram story posted by Spanish forward Ferran Torres, Aubameyang, who was at Barca for only seven months, was pictured in the thick of the dressing-room festivities.
Torres captioned the story ‘Grande’, meaning big or great in Spanish, while also tagging the out-of-favour Chelsea man.
Barca claimed a late 2-1 victory over arch-rivals Madrid after an injury-time strike from Franck Kessie sealed their 119th El Clasico win.
Aubameyang last made Chelsea’s matchday squad against Tottenham at the end of February after a month out, coming off the bench in a 2-0 defeat.
The last time Aubameyang made the starting XI was against former club Arsenal at the start of November.
In his prime, Aubameyang was one of Europe’s premier forwards after successful spells at Arsenal and Dortmund – for whom he scored a combined 233 goals in 376 games – but has been unable to recapture that form.
This season, he has scored once in the Premier League and twice in the Champions League across a combined 18 games.
