A host of top European clubs – including Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid – have reportedly sent scouts to watch Mason Greenwood this season.
Exiled by Manchester United, Greenwood made the season-long loan move to Getafe in September and has proven to be a hit, with four goals and three assists through 13 matches.
According to 90min, his performances have not gone unnoticed with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund all tracking his progress.
There appears to no future for Greenwood at Manchester United.
The 22-year-old was arrested on charges of attempted rape and assault in January 2022 and was suspended while on full pay by Manchester United. The charges, however, were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February after ‘key witnesses’ withdrew their involvement. Greenwood continually denied all the claims against him.

Following a drawn-out internal investigation, United announced in August that Greenwood would not play for them as they were prioritising the ‘welfare, wishes and perspective’.
As a result, the future of Greenwood, who is under contract at United through until 2025 as well as holding the option to extend for an extra year, will be a hot topic in the coming months.
Last month, according to Spanish outlet AS, several scouts from Premier League clubs went to watch Greenwood in action at the Estadio Coliseum.
No Premier League club showed interest in Greenwood in the summer, but he attracted enquiries from clubs in Italy and Turkey.

Asked about that potential deal, Getafe president Angel Corres told reporters: ‘We have not talked about price. We have talked about looking at the situation and seeing what they propose because there has also been a change of shareholding there at Manchester (United).
‘But we are still happy with the meetings and with the videoconferences we have with them.
‘It is still too early to consider either continuing for one more season or that they will propose a price and we will commit the whole (of the contract) because we have a percentage and to buy the rest.’
