Ball boy famously booted by Eden Hazard has net worth bigger than Harry Kane

Former Swansea ball boy Charlie Morgan has a bigger net worth than England captain Harry Kane thanks to his sought-after vodka that has sold millions over the past two years.

Charlie was 17 when his clash with Eden Hazard brought national attention, with one of the best players in the world at the time being sent off for kicking him while trying to get the ball back.

Moving on from his first taste of the limelight, the Welsh youngster and his school friend guided a start-up to a global powerhouse in the alcohol market in the form of Au Vodka.

Charlie and school pal Jackson Quinn are estimated to be worth £40million each on The Times Young Rich List, placing at 24th spot earlier this year.

Those sums are in fact higher than Tottenham hero and leading Premier League striker Kane, with Celebrity Net Worth estimating his funds to be £38m ($45m).

The Times report that the 29-year-old earns a salary of £10.4m per season at Tottenham, with his current deal running until the summer of 2024.

Almost a decade after his run-in with Hazard, Charlie now brushes shoulders with the likes of Ronaldinho and Floyd Mayweather thanks to his inspired creation.

He said in an interview with WalesOnline in February 2021: "We were 18, 19, 20 at the time and every one of our friends for their birthday would always get a bottle of the same old vodkas.

"We just felt it was a bit boring. We just felt we could do it a little bit better."

The brand shifted an impressive 1.7m bottles during the course of the Covid-19 pandemic with only Smirnoff beating those sales numbers during the same period.

Other celebrity endorsers come in the form of DJ Charlie Sloth and rapper AJ Tracy, with the brand continuing to grow.

Au Vodka's Instagram following has now climbed to 268,000, with recent uploads showing new ice lollies and pre-mixed cans as they continue to extend their products.
