Aston Villas transfer plans once Jack Grealish completes £100m move to Man City
Aston Villa boss Dean Smith wants a reunion with two of his former players after Jack Grealish completes his £100million transfer to Manchester City.
Grealish is poised to join Pep Guardiola's side in the coming days and has reportedly said his goodbyes to his Aston Villa team-mates.
Villa are expected to pocket £100m from the deal which will allow Smith to bring in some more fresh faces ahead of the new season.
The Midlands outfit have not been shy of spending a few quid themselves in the summer window, bringing in Leon Bailey for £30m and Emiliano Buendia for £33m.
And Smith reportedly wants to continue his signing spree with the additions of former loan stars Axel Tuanzebe and Tammy Abraham.
That's according to The Sun, who claim the Villa boss is weighing up moves to bring the pair back to Villa Park.
Manchester United defender Tuanzebe and wantaway Chelsea striker Abraham both helped the Villans win promotion to the Premier League in 2019.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will reportedly consider letting Tuanzebe return to the Midlands on loan if he agrees to an extension on his deal at Old Trafford.

The 24-year-old has two years remaining on his current contract but United want him to agree to a further 12 months which would tie him down until 2024.
Newcastle are also interested in the centre-half, but Smith is confident Tuanzebe would jump at the chance to return to Villa Park for a third spell.
Meanwhile,, Smith continues to monitor Abraham's situation following reports that Chelsea are weighing up a £100m move of their own for former striker Romelu Lukaku.
Abraham, also 24, was a popular figure amongst Villa fans when he scored 26 goals during the club's promotion-winning season two years ago.
The striker's availability is widely known, with Arsenal and West Ham both believed to be interested, but no bid has yet been lodged.
Villa are reportedly weighing up a £35million if Grealish exits the club in the coming days, as is expected.
