Aston Villa striker leaves, El Ghazi transfer latest and McKennie update
Aston Villa have been one of the busiest Premier League clubs in the summer transfer window – but they may not be done yet.
Jack Grealish's British record £100million sale to Manchester City has allowed the Villains to invest in several areas of the squad.
Boss Dean Smith has signed Emi Buendia, Leon Bailey and Danny Ings to transform a deadly attack.
Axel Tuanzebe and Ashley Young have also returned following previous spells at Villa Park as Smith targets an improvement on last season's impressive 11th place finish.
Here, Daily Star Sport looks at all the latest transfer news surrounding Villa Park…
Wesley exit confirmed
Aston Villa have confirmed their Brazilian striker Wesley has joined Club Brugge on a season-long deal.
Wesley joined Villa from the Belgian club two years ago but has now returned in a temporary switch.
The 24-year-old has been frustrated by a lengthy layoff through a serious knee injury and will be looking for regular game time in the Jupiler Pro League.
Smith stance on El Ghazi
Dean Smith is clear that Anwar El Ghazi will remain at Villa Park, despite speculation over his future.
The 26-year-old midfielder has been linked with a switch to Jose Mourinho's Roma.
"I have got no intentions of letting Anwar go anywhere," Smith said.
"We have not discussed it. He scored ten goals in the Premier League last season and that is a really good return from a wide forward.
"He came off the pitch after two goals and two assists on Tuesday night which was not a bad return as well!"

Weston McKennie has reportedly been attracting interest from a host of Premier League sides this summer.
The USA international impressed in his first season at Juventus following a move from Shalke, and Villa have been among the sides said to be targeting the 23-year-old.
But Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri has all but ended speculation by confirming he is set to stay in Turin.
"Weston McKennie shouldn't leave, he's an attacking midfielder, and has got goals in his legs," Allegri said.
