Arteta’s classy touch loved by Reds fans in Arsenal boss’ pre-match interview
Liverpool fans have hailed Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta for his classy gesture ahead of the Gunners' trip to Anfield on Sunday evening.
Aretea's side could extend their lead at the top at Anfield if they overcame the Reds. And ahead of the clash, in his pre-match interview, Liverpool fans noted Arteta was wearing a '97' badge, in reference to the fans who lost their lives in the Hillsborough disaster.
A minute's silence was held ahead of kick-off in tribute to the 97 fans who lost their lives, on the 34th anniversary of the disaster. And Liverpool fans were quick to notice Arteta's tribute.

One fan tweeted: "Mikel Arteta was wearing a 97 badge during his pre-match interview. Respect!"
"Respect to Mikel Arteta for wearing 97 on his jacket for his press conference class that," a second added. While a third tweeted: "That minute's silence, unbelievable, total respect to Arsenal, their fans & Mikel Arteta with a 97 badge!"
"Arsenal have shown a lot of respect towards the 97 the last few days, class from the club and Arteta," a fourth tweeted. And another added: "The 97 pin on Arteta’s jumper is a nice touch!"

Arteta and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard paid tribute to the victims of the Hillsborough disaster ahead of Sunday evening's match.
The pair were pictured laying wreaths at the memorial outside of Anfield. And Arsenal's official Twitter account wrote: ''Our thoughts are with our friends at Liverpool FC and all the families of the victims of the Hillsborough disaster – April 15, 1989."
