Emile Smith Rowe has opened up on the two players who have had a transformative impact at Arsenal.
The Gunners finished fifth last season, outside the Champions League places, after being pipped to a top-four spot by bitter rivals Tottenham.
But this season has been different, with Mikel Arteta’s men topping the Premier League table by eight points – albeit they have played one game more than the chasing Manchester City in second.
A rejuvenated Arsenal have 10 games left to secure their first league title in almost 20 years, since the ‘Invincibles’ season of 2003-04, and Smith Rowe told the Sun that two stars in particular have massively improved the club’s mentality.
He said: ‘(Oleksandr) Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus coming in felt like it changed the whole dynamic.

Smith Rowe has missed much of the season with injury but scored for England U21 on Saturday
‘They’ve been there, they know what it’s like to win stuff. I definitely say a lot of it was down to them coming in because their mentality is unbelievable.
‘Zinchenko is one of the best technical players I’ve seen. I can’t believe City let them go.’
Arsenal splashed out £45m on Brazilian striker Jesus and £30m on Ukrainian left back Zinchenko from champions Manchester City.
Both have significant trophy-winning pedigree with Pep Guardiola’s side, a mentality they have evidently transferred to the north London side.
Smith Rowe, who has missed much of this season after surgery on a groin injury and lost his left-wing starting spot to Gabriel Martinelli, is now back fit.
The 22-year-old scored the opener as England’s under-21 side thrashed their France counterparts 4-0 on Saturday.
And the Croydon-born star, who has not yet started a game for Arsenal this campaign, also admitted he is desperate to play a starring role in their charge to the title.
He added: ‘I’ve just got to make sure I stay fit as well and when the manager needs me, I’m going to be ready to perform.’
