Arsenal’s ‘next priority’ after Saka deal has fans enjoying ‘too much good news’
Arsenal have made their next priority – after they tie down Bukayo Saka to a new deal – securing William Saliba's future.
The Frenchman has been integral to the Gunners' title charge this season, and Arsenal fans are overjoyed to hear Mikel Arteta wants to extend his stay. According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, talks between the two parties are continuing.
He added: "Talks ongoing on details/salary/structure of the deal, deal not at final stages yet." And Arsenal fans have joked they are getting "too much good news" at the moment.

One fan joked: "Too much good news as an Arsenal fan! I am not used to this! These were the things I always dreamt of seeing from my club! Overjoyed, to be honest."
"Our big players want to stay unlike other clubs," a second added. While a third tweeted: "Saliba is extremely important to Arsenal, we must keep him at all costs along with many others in the starting 11 so happy this is working out!"
And a fourth said: "Why would anyone want to currently leave, the projects exciting and he’s instrumental to it!"

Saka and Saliba look set to follow in the footsteps of Gabriel Martinelli – who put pen-to-paper on a new deal last month. The Brazilian winger has been in fine form this season, with nine league goals so far.
Arsenal are currently chasing their first Premier League title in almost two decades, and the Gunners are sitting pretty at the top of the table, two points ahead of Manchester City. However, the London giants have a game in hand over the reigning champions, who they will face in a potential title decider at the Etihad on April 26.
