Dusan Vlahovic’s potential move to Arsenal could well happen in the next month after rumours claimed that the Gunners had ramped up their efforts to sign the Serbian in the current transfer window. Yet according to reports, the Serbian would prefer a move to Juventus or Inter Milan if he was to leave Fiorentina.
Vlahovic has scored 16 league goals in just 20 games this season as he has almost single-handedly fired Fiorentina into the top half.
La Viola sit seventh in the table having scored 34 goals, with Vlahovic’s 16 meaning he has scored almost half of their tally.
That has attracted the attention of most of Europe’s top sides, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City amongst others being linked with a move.
Arsenal have ramped up their interest in a deal this window, reportedly making Vlahovic their ‘number one target’ as they look to replace the hole that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has left in the team.

But according to football.london, the Gunners could lose out after Vlahovic told close friends that he would prefer a move to Juventus or Inter Milan.
With Aubameyang having been dropped from the side and stripped of the captaincy after repeated disciplinary breaches, the Gunners have turned to Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.
The duo have fared well, with Lacazette scoring and assisting five goals in his last five games.
But with both of their contracts up in the summer, Arsenal must strengthen their attacking department if they are to successfully replace the goals they may lose.
A fee of £60million has been touted for Vlahovic which they are reportedly able to pay, although the Gunners may struggle to agree terms with his representatives.
DON’T MISS
And that may give Juventus and Inter hope that Vlahovic will wait for a deal that keeps him in Italy.
Juventus are currently in need of a star striker after the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United in the summer.
They replaced him with the returning Moise Kean, who had previously been sold to Everton where he endured a torrid spell.
And with just four goals in 20 games for the Bianconeri this season, Max Allegri’s side may require an upgrade on the 21-year-old Italian.
Inter could also make a move for the Serbian star after they sold Romelu Lukaku in the summer.
The San Siro-based outfit received £97.5million for Lukaku from Chelsea, and replaced him with the free signing of Edin Dzeko.
The Bosnian has done well so far in his time at San Siro, scoring 11 goals in just 25 games.
However, he turns 36 later this season, meaning Inter could opt to sign a long-term replacement in Vlahovic.
