Jakub Kiwior made his debut for Arsenal while his Twerk Queen WAG was living up to her nickname.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta handed centre-back Kiwior, who joined from Serie A side Spezia in the January transfer window, his first start in the opening leg of their Europa League round-of-16 tie away at Sporting Lisbon.

His girlfriend Claudia Redheaded had to watch from afar, though, as she's stayed in their native Poland – where she runs twerking workshops aptly named 'twerkshops'.

The blonde beauty is an expert in the field having won the Germany twerk competition in 2017 and reached the semi-finals of the European championships the following year.

And she proved her credentials on Thursday (March 9) by uploading videos of her dancing during Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Sporting for the enjoyment of her 71.3k Instagram followers.

She shook her backside in one and showed off her athleticism in another as she writhed around on the floor, pulling off a handstand and multiple splits.

Kiwior, meanwhile, was enduring a difficult yet promising showing on his Arsenal bow, which saw him play 70 minutes before being replaced by Gabriel.

Despite being accused of ducking out of the way of Sporting's first goal, Arteta was pleased with the 23-year-old's performance.

Speaking post-match, he said: "I think he was good, it’s the first time he’s played so it was a different partnership.

"When you make six changes to the team, that cohesion isn’t really there, and you can sense it especially in the first minutes of the half. After that, I think the team got better and better. Overall, I think he played a good game."

His defensive partner William Saliba added: "It's his first game and he played well. I played the first time with him.

"Unfortunately we conceded two goals but it's okay. We train a lot together because in training we change the pair and it wasn't bad to play with him for the first time."
