Arsenal pressing for Abraham and eyeing Woodman as Bayern offer Bellerin swap
Arsenal appear in desperate need of further reinforcements after their calamitous 2-0 defeat away at Brentford on Friday night.
Mikel Arteta has already added three new signings to his squad this summer, forking out £52million to sign England defender Ben White from Brighton.
Youngsters Albert Sambi Lokonga (£16million) and Nuno Tavares (£8million) also sealed moves to the Emirates.
But following their disastrous start to the season against newly-promoted Brentford, the Gunners are likely to complete more deals before the summer window closes at the end of the month – so we're on hand with the latest Arsenal transfer news below.
Abraham update
Roma seem to be in pole position to sign Chelsea outcast Tammy Abraham this month, but Corriere dello Sport are reporting that Arsenal are still 'pressing' to sign the striker.
The Italian club are understood to have had a £34million bid accepted for Abraham, who now must decide whether he wants to join Jose Mourinho's side.
Nevertheless, Arsenal remain in the hunt to prise him away from Stamford Bridge and could capitalise if Roma fail to agree personal terms with the player.

Woodman eyed
Arteta is still in need of a new backup goalkeeper with a rumoured move for Sheffield United shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale now appearing unlikely.
According to ChronicleLive, Arsenal could launch an offer for Newcastle's Freddie Woodman, who has impressed out on loan at Swansea in the previous two seasons.
After seemingly missing out on Ramsdale it is believed Gunners chiefs could come in for the 24-year-old, with Newcastle likely to demand around £10million for their young goalkeeper.
Bellerin swap
Hector Bellerin's future at Arsenal remains up in the air, with rumoured suitors Inter Milan instead opting for PSV right-back Denzel Dumfries.
However, Calciomercatoweb claim Bayern Munich are exploring the possibility of signing the Spaniard before the summer window closes – and would be open to including Corentin Tolisso in a deal.

The idea of swapping Bellerin for Tolisso, who operates as a central midfielder, is likely to appeal to Arteta amid his search for reinforcements in the middle of the park.
