Arsenal predicted XI vs Crystal Palace as Gunners look to maintain winning run
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal have come into the new year with a renewed sense of optimism after bringing their dismal run of results to an end.
The Gunners have now won all of their last four fixtures, though needed extra time to see off Newcastle in Saturday's FA Cup third round tie.
Returning to Premier League action on Thursday, Arteta's men welcome Crystal Palace to the Emirates – a team they have failed to beat in their last four encounters.
But momentum is with Arsenal at the minute, while Palace have been plagued by inconsistency.
Nevertheless, Arteta is not taking anything for granted with his selection after urging his players to address their disappointing home form, starting with the clash against The Eagles.
After ringing the changes for the FA Cup, Arteta is returning to his tried and tested, with six players recalled into the starting XI.
Emile Smith Rowe is back in the No.10 role following his heroics at the weekend, and will play behind in-form striker Alexandre Lacazette.
To the left of the Frenchman in attack will be Arsenal's captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while Bukayo Saka will keep his place on the right flank.
