Arsenal have made Stade Rennes' young starlet, Eduardo Camavinga, their priority target for this transfer window, as Mikel Arteta looks to start his squad overhaul.
Camavinga has been turning heads in France, and he has propelled his boyhood club towards Champions League football – with the help of Leeds United's Raphina.
The 18-year-old has drawn comparisons to Arsenal legend Patrick Vieria, and Arteta will be hoping Camavinga follows Viera in moving from his homeland to North London.
And, according to The Express, Arteta could be willing to sell four players to raise funds for the starlet, who has been rated as one of the worlds top prospects.
Camavinga made his Ligue 1 debut as a 16-year-old, and now still 18, he has already racked up 82 appearances in France's top flight.
He was born in Angola – to Congolese parents – and moved to France as a two-year-old, and he has since gained international caps for France – gaining citizenship for his adopted nation in 2019.
Bernd Leno, William Saliba, Matteo Guendouzi and Eddie Nketiah are all at risk of being booted to raise money for the move.
And Arsenal's sudden movements for Camavinga suggest they have cooled their interest in Lyon's Houssem Aouar.
