Arsenal hope to land hat-trick scoring defender after Brexit rules blocked deal
Arsenal are reportedly looking to secure a deal for Spanish starlet Yarek Gasiorowski – who netted a hat-trick from centre-back over the international break.
Gasiorowski has been earning plaudits in his homeland after he moved up to the Valencia first-team last summer. And he hit headlines in the week after netting a hat-trick for Spain's U19's in a clash against Moldova.
And Mikel Arteta's side are keen to try and make a move for the youngster, according to Spanish-outlet Diario AS. The Gunners have already tried to sign Gasiorowski – but Brexit stopped the deal from happening.

Due to rules following Brexit, Premier League clubs are forbidden from signing players under the age of 18-years-old. However, the report claims the Gunners have remained in contact with Gasiorowski.
Arteta's side are looking to bolster their ranks as they push for a first Premier League title since the days of the Invincibles. And it isn't just defenders Arsenal have been linked with – as Brentford's Ivan Toney has been named as the manager's top priority.

Arsenal are currently third in the table, with last season's champions Manchester City setting the pace into the final international break of 2023.
However, the Gunners did register a massive win over Pep Guardiola's side earlier in the campaign, and they are only one point off the top of the table. Arteta's side will be looking to continue their hot run of form against Brentford on Saturday evening.
