Arsenal have brutal swipe at Tottenham hidden on website of their club shop
Arsenal have a brutal swipe at their north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur hidden on the website of their official club shop.
The two Premier League giants have one of English football's fiercest rivalries and have met no fewer than 190 times in total since their first meeting back in December 1909.
As a result, fans of both clubs take every opportunity they can to mock their rivals, whether it be at meetings between the sides or on social media following matches.
However, one Arsenal fan has now unearthed a brutal put down the club has hidden on their online store.
Gunners supporter Connor Humm has discovered that when users attempt to view their basket while it is empty a message appears mocking their fierce rivals.
An image posted to Twitter shows the message, which reads: “Your basket is as empty as Tottenham’s trophy cabinet.”
Spurs have not won a major trophy since they lifted the League Cup over a decade ago in 2008, meanwhile Arsenal have claimed four FA Cups since.
In total, Tottenham can boast two league titles, eight FA Cups, four League Cups and three European trophies.

Their European honours surpass that of their rivals, with two UEFA Cups and one Cup Winners' Cups compared to Arsenal's Cup Winners' Cup and Inter-Cities Fairs Cup wins.
Despite this, though, Arsenal are able to stand above their local rivals when it comes to overall trophies won during their history.
The Gunners have won a record 14 FA Cups as well as 13 league titles and two League Cups, with their most recent honour being the FA Cup in 2020.
Spurs' lack of success is often used as a stick to beat them with, as fans from clubs across England regularly mock them on social media.
The club were even trolled online by their official paint sponsor, Dulux, back in April 2020 before the company's tweets were deleted and an official apology was issued.
