Arsenal could receive a transfer boost after Manchester United were reportedly offered Wolves winger Pedro Neto by agent Jorge Mendes. The Gunners have previously shown an interest in the talented Portuguese winger.
Both Arsenal and United are expected to complete plenty of business in the final two weeks of the summer transfer window. The Red Devils are desperate to improve head coach Erik ten Hag’s attacking options, especially if Cristiano Ronaldo departs ahead of the September 1 deadline.
Super-agent Mendes, who represents several Portuguese players, has reportedly offered the 22-year-old winger Neto to United. The starlet was eased back into the Wolves team after spending nearly a year out with a serious knee injury and is now fully fit.
And the fact that Neto has been offered out to potential suitors, as reported by 90min, could be good news for Arsenal. Mikel Arteta could be tempted to rekindle his interest in the former Braga prospect.

Neto emerged as one of the Premier League’s brightest talents after joining Wolves in 2019. He attracted interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs during his first two seasons with the Midlands outfit, but cruelly suffered an ACL injury towards the end of the 2020-21 season.
Arsenal icon Thierry Henry revealed that he was a fan of Neto after the forward impressed in a fixture against Liverpool in early 2021.
Henry told Sky Sports: “I like him a lot. Especially the situation that he found himself in with [Raul] Jimenez being injured and Diogo Jota now playing for the other side tonight.

“It’s not easy to have everything on your shoulders. What I like is he’s not scared to beat people on the outside. I like it. He can cross with his right, finish with his left.
“He’s always looking to have a go and attack the defender – always on the front foot. It’s not easy to do this at such a young age, in a team where you’re not often in possession and dominating games. I think he’s performed extremely well.”
Arsenal could target a late deal for Neto, especially after learning that Mendes is recommending his client to rival clubs. The club are believed to be looking for a new winger and are reportedly in talks to sign Yeremy Pino from Villarreal.
