Arsenal fans fume at double standards as Jack Grealish avoids pen for ‘handball’
Arsenal fans have been left fuming seeing Jack Grealish avoid giving away a handball – a day after Kai Havertz was penalised for one against Aston Villa.
On Saturday evening, the Gunners dropped points away to Villa, falling 1-0 to Unai Emery's side at Villa Park in a result that prevented them moving back to the top of the Premier League. However, late on in the contest, Mikel Arteta's side thought they had bagged an equaliser through Kai Havertz, only for the German's goal to have been ruled out after he was deemed to have handled the ball.
With Liverpool having produced a stunning late winner thanks to Harvey Elliot against Crystal Palace in the early Saturday kick off, that means Jurgen Klopp's side now sit top of the table by a point ahead of Arsenal.

Clearly not thrilled about the controversial decision to rule out Havertz's strike, Arsenal fans were then incensed even further on Sunday. Manchester City and Grealish escaped without conceding a late penalty after the ball appeared to have struck the England international's arm as they tried to close out their game leading 2-1 against Luton Town.
Vaving not won in their last four Premier League games, City did however managed to come through past the Hatters, drawing them closer to Arsenal, Villa and Liverpool.

But after having suffered an 'injustice' a day prior, Arsenal fans on social media were left infuriated by the fact Grealish's 'handball' went unpunished, unlike Havertz's. One fan said: "If thats not handball by Grealish, explain how Havertz's yesterday is?"
Another added: "Grealish lent with his arms and hit his elbow?" A third commented: "So what's the difference between the Grealish handball and the Havertz handball?"
