Arsenal fans were left feeling disappointed after the January transfer window closed on Monday evening.

Arteta failed to add a marquee signing to his first-team squad – despite making moves for serval high-profile players.

The north London side tried to acquire the services of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic but lost out to Juventus – who purchased the Serbia international for £63m.

Arsenal’s pursuit of Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak and Espanyol’s Raul De Tomas also ended in disappointment.

Arteta did mange to sign USA international Auston Trusty from MLS outfit Colorado Rapids and New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ended his four-year spell with The Gunners by joining Barcelona, while Calum Chambers left to join Premier League giants Aston Villa

However, their arrival at Arsenal did little to fill the void left by the 13 players who departed.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ended his four-year spell with The Gunners by joining Barcelona on an 18-month contract.

Calum Chambers and Sead Kolasinac also left the club, while serval players have been shipped out on loan.

As a result, Arsenal fans are desperate for Arteta to sign some new players in the summer window.

As for now, they are putting their faith in Saka.
