Arsenal fan Piers Morgan in fresh spat with ex-Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar
Piers Morgan and ex-Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar reignited their long-standing rivalry following Arsenal's dismal defeat to Everton.
The Gunners conceded a stoppage time goal on Monday evening to leave Goodison Park empty handed after a game which they were winning until a 79th minute Toffees equaliser.
It led to staunch fan Morgan to call for Mikel Arteta's head, and Sugar couldn't resist the opportunity to add to his foe's woes.
The pair recently quashed their rivalry after countless arguments on many subjects through the years, but the divide on their north London loyalties was always going to cause friction on a friendship.
Following the loss, Morgan tweeted: "This is why I don’t think Arteta is good enough to be Arsenal manager. We’ve been completely outplayed by a side that hasn’t won for 8 matches. Dreadful."
Sugar replied: "You have been very quiet over Arsenal performance. Maybe you should apologise to Wenger and beg him to come back.
"I am sure you will convince him if you get down on your knees. By the way Spurs on the way up. Have a Nice day!"

Morgan then got personal with his response, hitting back with: "Arsenal fans want Wenger back as manager as much as Spurs fans want you back as owner/chairman… (9yrs, 7 managers, never made Top6 in the League)."
But Sugar was having none of it, tweeting: "Our fans love me for saving the club, not entirely sure Arsenal fans love you ….comments from others please."
The Apprentice chief added another post which read: "By the way Piersy did Arsenal ever get to a champions league final.
"Face it you are the underdogs club in North London. Shame to see after so much hard work of Wenger."
Sugar was of course referencing Spurs' venture to the 2019 European showdown with Liverpool, but clearly forgot Arsenal's 2006 final loss to Barcelona.
Morgan corrected him: "Yes, we did. And you haven’t won the League in my lifetime."
Mention of the Gunners' Invincibles season ensured the former Good Morning Britain host had the final say in the spat.
