Arsenal have aimed a cheeky dig at the person who leaked a picture of Ben White’s unveiling as a Gunners player. The Brighton defender was announced by the club on Friday.
However, before that, a picture of White, manager Mikel Arteta, and technical director Edu holding an Arsenal shirt circulated on social media.
Arsenal appeared to find the funny side and tweeted the official photo of the trio.
The picture was tweeted with the caption: “The official signing pictures always look much nicer, right?
“Here’s a better angle [wink emoji].”
White finally signed for Arsenal on Friday, after long-standing interest from Arteta and co.

The 23-year-old impressed for Brighton last season, so much so that he was called up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2020.
He failed to make an appearance for the Three Lions at the tournament but impressed on his debut in a friendly against Austria before the competition began.
White will likely play at centre-back under Arteta, although he is more than capable of playing right-back or even in midfield.
Arsenal also have completed the signing of youngster Mika Biereth from Fulham on Friday.

“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and I couldn’t really turn it down.
“I think now with the recent track record of youth going into the first team, I thought it was a great project to try and be a part of.”
