Arsenal ace Xhaka leaves little to the imagination with latest transfer comment

Arsenal's former captain, Granit Xhaka, has left little to the imagination with his latest comments about leaving North London.

Xhaka has spent the last five years in the capital – after joining the Gunners from Borussia Monchengladbach – however, after looking set to leave in January 2020, he was convinced to stay by Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal fans patience had appeared to run thin with the Swiss midfielder, and their estranged relationship continued into the last campaign.

The Swiss star has been linked with a move to Jose Mourinho'sRoma, and he is currently in Rome, with the Swiss side, for Euro 2020.

“Arsenal know what I want to do… it is very beautiful here [in Rome]," he told Look .

The 28-year-old still has two years left on his Gunners contract, and Arsenal are under no pressure to sell him, but it appears that Xhaka is keen on a change of scenery.

Roma, reportedly, had a bid of €15million (£12.9million) rejected for Xhaka last month, however, they could be set to swoop in for the midfielder.
