Argentina’s Rodrigo de Paul is dating stunning singer who used to be Disney star

Argentina are just two wins away from landing the most coveted prize in all of sport … and speaking of landing prizes, midfielder Rodrigo De Paul has bagged himself one heck of missus!

The Atletico Madrid star, 28, is dating 25-year-old Argentinian pop sensation Martina Stoessel, who goes by the stage name TINI.

Martina, who first appeared on De Paul's Instagram a few weeks ago, sharing an intimate kiss with the footballer, is a multi-talented former Disney Channel star in Latin America.

On top of her singing career, she acts, dances and models and has become one of Argentina's most celebrated young superstars.

She began her career in acting but found her true calling after turning to music in 2016 following a three-year stint on Disney Channel Latin America.

She’s collaborated with a string of famous South American singers and even had Argentina superstar Sergio Aguero starring in the music video for her 2020 hit '22'.

Martina clearly has a thing for celebrity boyfriends, having dated an Argentinian actor, a Spanish model and a Colombian singer – with whom she collaborated with for several of her songs – though shacking up with a professional athlete is new ground for her.

De Paul has started every single one of Argentina's World Cup games in Qatar, having established himself as a first-team regular alongside Alexis Mac Allister and Enzo Fernandez in midfield.

He's in line to feature in tonight's crunch clash with Croatia and will be tasked with keeping the likes of Luka Modric, Mateo Kovacic and Marcelo Brozovic quiet. No pressure then.
