Antony’s ex-girlfriend to fly to UK for police interviews on attack allegations
Manchester United football Antony's ex-girlfriend is set to fly to the UK for police interviews.
Gabriela Cavallin, 23, will meet Greater Manchester Police on Wednesday next week according to The Telegraph, having claimed that the Brazil international footballer assaulted her in a Manchester hotel room after United's win over Manchester City in January, which he denies.
Sao Paulo Civil Police are also investigating the allegation, with Cavallin waiving her right to anonymity having also alleged that Antony once tried to throw her out of a moving car while she was pregnant.

Antony, who returned to action for United off the bench during their Champions League defeat against Galatasaray, has been co-operating with police in the UK and in Brazil.
The 23-year-old has vowed to clear his name following the allegation, with United announcing that he was back available for selection last week after delaying his return from international duty.
The former Ajax forward, who joined United for £82million last simmer to reunite with Erik ten Hag, voluntarily attended his own interview with Greater Manchester Police last Thursday.
The United statement read: "Since allegations were first made in June, Antony has co-operated with police inquiries in both Brazil and the UK, and he continues to do so.
"As Antony’s employer, Manchester United has decided that he will resume training at Carrington, and be available for selection, while police inquiries proceed. This will be kept under review pending further developments in the case.
"As a club, we condemn acts of violence and abuse. We recognise the importance of safeguarding all those involved in this situation, and acknowledge the impact these allegations have on survivors of abuse."
Sky Sports is bringing you 500 live football games to watch, as well access to Cricket, Golf, F1, Boxing, NFL, NBA and more across eight dedicated channels. Sky Sports is the only way to watch all the action this year.

Ten Hag has since declined to add to the statement while insisting that the situation has not been a distraction.
He said: "We make the statement, so I refer to the statement. I think everything has been made clear in the statement. No, I don’t think it’s a distraction. We focus on the games and he will do as well."
Prior to being given a leave of absence by United last month, Antony released a statement of his own, which said: "I want to reiterate my innocence of the things I have been accused of, and I will fully cooperate with the police to help them reach the truth. I look forward to returning to play as soon as possible."
