Anthony Martial ‘among three Man Utd stars’ all wanted by Prem rivals
Premier League transfer update: West Ham show interest in Maguire
West Ham are reportedly planning to raid Manchester United this summer with three Red Devils stars at the top of their shortlist. The Hammers remain the only team in the Premier League that haven’t signed a single player in the current transfer window but David Moyes is planning to change that in the coming days.
According to Caught Offside, the Scotsman has identified Anthony Martial, Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay as ideal signings for his side. Moyes is said to be particularly keen on Maguire and has informed the board that he is the “ideal profile” of player to strengthen his side’s backline.
West Ham recently had a £20million bid rejected for the former United skipper and are expected to go back in with an improved offer. Although Maguire won’t come cheap with his parent club wanting no less than £40m for the England international.
Scott McTominay has also been valued around the £40m mark and has a long line of potential suitors including West Ham. Roma are said to be very interested in the player and could make a move for him following an approach from Rennes for Nemanja Matic.
West Ham want to bring him in to replace Declan Rice, who recently joined Arsenal for a club-record fee of £105m. The 26-year-old is said to be keen on staying in the Premier League though nothing has been reported on his stance regarding a move to London Stadium.
Martial, meanwhile, is one of Moyes’ three main targets for a new No 9. Montpellier’s Elye Wahi and Youssef En-Nesyri of Sevilla are also on that list.

The Frenchman has failed to live up to expectations since joining Man Utd in 2015 and has been put up for sale this summer. United reportedly want a fee in the region of £25m.
However, they are also open to keeping him as a backup striker for new arrival Rasmus Hojlund. And recent comments from Erik ten Hag suggest he may want to keep him around.
“We need a good squad and Martial is a brilliant football player and so he will help us,” said the Dutchman. “He scored goals and also in other areas of football like pressing, in possession, combinations, he’s a great player and, yeah, let’s hope he will be fit and stays fit.”
