Amad’s reaction to missing out on making Man Utd debut against West Ham
Amad showed no signs of any disappointment at not making his first-team debut for Man Utd on Tuesday despite having been left on the bench for 120 minutes.
The 18-year-old winger was included as part of the matchday squad for the first time since his move from Atalanta as United battled their way into the FA Cup quarter finals.
It took an extra-time Scott McTominay strike to settle their clash with West Ham, in what was an otherwise fairly drab affair.
Amad's introduction would no doubt have breathed some much-needed life into the encounter, but he had to be content with just a spectator role.
Yet even after seeing five substitutes given the nod ahead of him, Amad appeared pleased just to be involved.
Posting on Twitter after the win, he wrote: "Well done guys."
The youngster also included a picture of him warming up with a big smile etched across his face.
His senior call-up has been a few weeks in the pipeline, with many previously expecting Amad to make the bench for one of United's recent Premier League fixtures.

The FA Cup offered Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a good chance to throw the teenager in but, even with five subs at his disposal, he opted to hold him back, as the likes of McTominay, Bruno Fernandes and Edinson Cavani were preferred.
When should Solskjaer hand Diallo his debut? Have your say below.
Speaking prior to United's victory, Solskjaer said: "He’s been bright since he came, he did really well in the reserve games.
"He’s a player who can create something out of nothing so he’s on the bench to make an impact if we need to."
There's every chance Amad could make his debut in the next week, with United travelling to relegation strugglers West Brom on Sunday, before Europa League action against Real Sociedad next Thursday.
