Alexandre Pato’s huge net worth is bigger than Zlatan, Ronaldinho and Mourinho’s

Former Chelsea and AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato has a net worth that is higher than Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jose Mourinho.

The 32-year-old is still playing professional football, and he recently made the move to the MLS to turn out for Orlando City.

But despite his journeyman career, Pato still boasts an impressive net worth of $145million, placing him as the seventh wealthiest footballer on the planet, according to The Richest.

Pato is placed ahead of current superstars like Eden Hazard and legends such as Pele.

And Daily Star Sport has looked into where Pato acquired his sizeable net worth.

Pato was once considered as one of the finest talents in world football when he burst onto the scene as a 16-year-old in 2006.

However, 'the duck' never quite lived up to the early expectations despite his fleeting moments of brilliance for AC Milan, where he arguably played his best football.

There were sizeable contracts in Milan and during a two-year stay in China.

But the majority of Pato's net worth comes from savvy investments sizeable property holdings, and lucrative endorsement deals with CoverGirl cosmetics.

The 32-year-old also owns a chain of burger restaurants in Brasilia, a vodka brand, and a fashion line.

Pato's net worth of $145million trumps that of Jose Mourinho's $100million and Zlatan's $90million.

Ibrahimovic and Pato shared a pitch at the San Siro during the 10/11 season.

Pato's net worth is also bigger than Ronaldinho's, another former teammate of AC Milan, who is also valued at $90million.

And it dwarfs Gerard Pique's $40million valuation.

Pato is perhaps one of football's biggest 'what ifs'.

When the Brazilian arrived at the gates of Stamford Bridge in 2016, he was a shell of the footballer that he had once promised to be.

"I received many opportunities to go to Europe again, to Asia and [the United Arab] Emirates. I said for my family, 'No, I want to be more happy'," Pato said after being unveiled at Orlando City.

"I expected for the new step, for the new club [to] get my happiness back for myself. I want to just be happy."

The label of the next Pele hung heavy on the shoulders of the 32-year-old when he first emerged.

But while his success has been limited on the pitch, Pato has certainly been successful off of it.
