TalkSPORT radio host Alan Brazil says he believes in aliens and has admitted he is suspicious of “zig zags” he sees in the sky in Suffolk.
The former Manchester United striker was drawn on the subject of all things out of this world while talking to Southampton legend and conspiracy theorist connoisseur Matt Le Tissier. During the conversation, Le Tissier explained in his view there is “enough evidence” that there are “other forms of life on our planet”.
When asked about his thoughts, Brazil very quickly agreed with the former England international. The bizarre exchange between the pair and a rather baffled Ray Parlour took place on the Pub Talk podcast.

Parlour appeared to take up the role of lead interviewer and mediator while talking to Le Tissier. And when the time was right, the Arsenal legend asked Le Tissier about whether he thinks aliens are real.
“Yea, I am a bit more certain that yes, there are other forms of life on our planet,” Le Tissier replied. “I think there is enough evidence from people who have had experiences and video footage.
“I think there is enough there. Actually, I think you’ve almost got to be a bit wacky to thing we are the only people that can inhabit this planet.” Parlour then shifted his attention to Brazil, to see what the Scotsman thought about Le Tissier’s opinion.

“I’m with Matt on this,” Brazil answered. “I think there is something out there, I do. Why would it just be us?
“When you live in Suffolk, when there is clear skies there is a lot of zig zags in the sky.” When asked if what he is seeing could just be simple airplanes, Brazil replied, “oh no, no, shooting stars, yeah we know what that is and meteorites, but there’s other stuff [like] satellites up there, bit it might not just be the satellites.
“There’s a forest down my way in Suffolk, Rendlesham Forest, and they are adamant there have been UFO landings. Now, I’m not crazy, I’m just telling you what American airmen have said.” Parlour then intervened, asking "what wine are you drinking?" to which Brazil jokingly replied "Moonshine."
In fairness to Brazil, Rendlesham Forest was the site of one of the most famous purported sightings of UFOs in history. The legend is that members of the United States Air Force security personnel claimed they saw strange lights in the surrounding forests.
While nearby Forestry worker Vince Thurkettle told the BBC he didn't see any strange lights when he was working in the forest at the time, the US government still released a memo to the world claiming they had spotted a UFO in the forest. Three years after Thurkettle was quizzed, the incident found itself on the front page of the News of the World.
Amongst the locals in Suffolk, the forest now has the same kind of legendary status as the Loch Ness Monster and other urban legends localised to a particular area.
