Adama Traore ‘desperate’ for Tottenham move and begs agent to get transfer done

Wolves' winger Adama Traore is reportedly 'desperate' to move to Tottenham on Transfer Deadline Day.

Traore's old manager Nuno Espirito Santo took the reins at Spurs over the summer, and the Spaniard is keen for a reunion with his old boss in North London.

And the 25-year-old has reportedly hired Jorge Mendes, a Portuguese super-agent, to try and push the move through.

However, Wolves are demanding around £50million for his services, according to The Athletic.

But Football Insider are reporting that Traore has instructed Mendes to do everything in his power to try and complete the switch before the deadline.

Traore has featured in all three of Wolves' Premier League fixtures so far this campaign, including their 1-0 defeat to Nuno's Tottenham.

However, he impressed against Manchester United on Sunday, where he gave Fred the runaround for the majority of the 90 minutes.

The 25-year-old was unlucky not to be on the score sheet during the clash as United escaped with a 1-0 win thanks to Mason Greenwood's strike late in the second half.

Spurs have already had a busy window with the acquisition of Pierluigi Gollini, Cristian Romero, Bryan Gil and Pape Matar Sarr.

However, Daniel Levy's crowning achievement of the transfer window is keeping Harry Kane at the club despite persistent interest from Manchester City.

Tottenham are currently top of the table after taking the maximum amount of points possible after three games this season.
