Aaron Ramsey has opened up the possibility of moving back to Arsenal this summer by speaking about his frustrations at Juventus. Ramsey has endured a tough time with injuries in Turin since leaving the Gunners in 2019 and has openly criticised the Italian club’s medical department.
The 30-year-old midfielder joined Juve on a four-year contract worth £400,000 per week in February 2019, but has struggled to make an impact in Serie A.
Injuries have been a constant theme of his spell in Italy, with the Welshman missing a total of 128 days through various knocks.
Ramsey did manage to make 30 appearances across all competitions for Juve last season, yet returned just two goals and four assists.
He fell out of favour under Andrea Pirlo and arrived at Euro 2020 with little football under his belt in the closing stages of the 2020/21 campaign.
Now, in an interview with an Italian newspaper, he has opened up on his experiences in the country – and hinted at a possible transfer this summer.

“The last two seasons at Juventus have been very difficult, frustrating, not just from a physical point of view,” he told La Repubblica.
“There have been factors and changes that I was not used to.
“In the national team, on the other hand, I am happy to have a team that follows me step by step.
“They understand me, they know what I need and also what my body needs. Unfortunately sometimes the teams always continue to work in a certain way, too.
“When a player would need more attention… at least now I have the right people around me and then I’ll do everything to get back to a place where I can feel good again, and have confidence.”
The Daily Mail says Juventus are ‘likely’ to try and sell Ramsey this summer in order to reduce their wage bill for returning manager Max Allegri.

Ramsey has two years left on his contract with the Old Lady, who may find it difficult to identify a buyer in a market depressed by COVID-19.
While he has struggled with Juve, Ramsey remains a key player for Wales and played the full 90 minutes of their 1-1 draw against Switzerland on Saturday.
Speaking about his season ahead of the tournament, Ramsey made similar points about his injury troubles, but brushed off a question about his future.
“It’s obviously been a very frustrating period for me over the last couple of years,” he told Sky Sports.
“I’ve picked up a few small niggly injuries which have been frustrating and I’ve not been able to get any consistency going.”
When asked if he will remain at Juventus next season, he replied: “Yeah, I’m a Juventus player.”
