7 stars that could still leave Chelsea before transfer deadline after Zouma exit
Kurt Zouma left Chelsea for West Ham on Friday evening after spending seven years at Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel has been keen to sell the deadwood at the Blues as the German streamlines his squad for the new season.
The Blues have been stockpiling talent for years, with the likes of Marco Van Ginkel, Davide Zappacosta, and Oliver Giroud all finally leaving this summer after finding game time hard to come by.
However, Tuchel still has players on his books that could leave before Transfer Deadline Day on Tuesday.
And Daily Star Sport looks at who could still be on the chopping block.
Callum Hudson-Odoi
Callum Hudson-Odoi has been a regular fixture of the Chelsea first team ever since he broke through in 2017.
However, the winger has been linked with a loan move to Borussia Dortmund, and Tuchel has admitted he needs game time.
"It’s hard to argue with this opinion that he needs regular game time to improve his personal level. At the same time, it’s not only about letting players go," Tuchel said ahead of the Liverpool clash.
"Today, we are missing only Christian Pulisic and Kurt Zouma, for example, so we are already only 17 regular players from last season. So if we want to compete in all competitions, it’s also about numbers."
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
It wasn't too long ago that Ruben Loftus-Cheek was Chelsea's blue-chip prospect and a man tipped for a glistening future.
But his career at Stamford Bridge has fizzled out into a series of disappointing loan spells at Crystal Palace and Fulham.
And his Chelsea days could be numbered as Jose Mourinho is looking to take Loftus-Cheek to Roma.
He wouldn't be the first ex-Chelsea player Mourinho has secured after he secured the services of Tammy Abraham earlier this summer.

After loan spells at RB Leipzig and Sheffield United, Ethan Ampadu has found it tough to break into the Chelsea first-team.
The Blues have a wealth of talent at the back, and with the impending arrival of Jules Kounde from Sevilla, Ampadu could struggle for game-time this season.
Ampadu has been linked with a loan move to Newcastle, but Sunderland icon Kevin Phillips warned him about the move on Football Insider.
“I’m not saying Ampadu can’t, he’s been at a big football club. But for me, I would want more experience there. There’s nothing wrong with youth, we’ve seen some talented youngsters do good jobs in recent years."
Danny Drinkwater
Danny Drinkwater has carved out a reputation as Chelsea's forgotten footballer in recent years.
His appearances for the Blues have been limited to pre-season friendlies or throwaway cup games.
Drinkwater has spent time at Burnley, Aston Villa, and Kasimpasa since his £34million move from Leicester City in 2017.
He has been linked with a move to Championship Reading as he tries to restart his career after a tough couple of campaigns.
Ross Barkley
Ross Barkley is another talent who ultimately failed to live up to expectations.
When Barkley left Everton for Chelsea there were talks of him leading England for years to come, but the 27-year-old has been left without a squad number at the Blues.
David Moyes could hand Barkley a second chance at West Ham, according to The Telegraph.
The Hammers have been looking for a replacement for Jesse Lingard after he returned to Manchester United.
Charly Musonda Jr
Charly Musonda Jr arrived at Chelsea from Anderlecht as a highly rated talent in 2012.
Musonda suffered a horrific ACL injury while on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, and the 24-year-old missed crucial years in his footballing development.
"Normally, players tear the ACL and are ready to use it again six months after surgery. The doctors told me that I would have to rehabilitate for a year," he told Het Nieuwsblad.
“Since I had been out for more than a year, they gave me a 20% chance of ever playing at the top level again. They literally said: this is going to be an impossible mountain to climb.”
Lewis Baker
Lewis Baker has been a long term member of Chelsea's loan army.
The 26-year-old has had loan spells at Sheffield Wednesday, MK Dons, Vitesse Arnhem, Middlesbrough, Leeds United, Reading, Fortuna Dusseldorf, and most recently Trabzonspor.
Baker's contract expires next summer, and if Chelsea wants to cash in on him Tuchel must sell before Tuesday.
After his three minute cameo for Chelsea in 2014, Baker has not made another appearance for the Blues.
