15 clubs chasing Folarin Balogun as Arsenal star nears end of contract
Arsenal youngster Folarin Balogun reportedly has at least 15 clubs chasing him as he nears the end of his Emirates contract.
Balogun, 19, has impressed in the Europa League though is yet to make an appearance in the Premier League this season.
The striker is believed to be eager to play football rather than sitting on the bench though Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is struggling to tie his man down.
Renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Balogun’s contract situation with Arsenal is “stalling”.
And he adds that the youngster has received more than 15 bids as a free agent for next summer.
Gunners manager Arteta spoke last week about why Balogun is yet to pen fresh terms in north London.
"Well, you need three parties to make a deal," he said. "For sure the club wants to make a deal, the manager wants to make a deal, and I'm not sure about the agent.
"I'm not saying he’s stopping it’s that we need to find an agreement with him. "We are negotiating at the end with an agent, with a player that wants to stay at the club and we need to find agreement.
"I’m telling you that we are doing everything we can to keep him here.
