YouTube prankster Jarvo 69 strikes again during Wales vs New Zealand rugby clash
A YouTube prankster famous for his eye-catching interruptions during the Test series between England and India this summer has set his sights on a new sport in which he can have some fun.
'Jarvo 69' made a name for himself this summer with a couple of cricket-related pranks, the first of which saw him walk on the pitch and attempt to pose as a member of the Indian team at Lord's.
The scoundrel, whose real name is Daniel Jarvis, made another appearance during the series when he interrupted the fourth Test at The Oval by running to the crease and allegedly making contact with Jonny Bairstow.
It seems the YouTuber has had his fun with cricket, after making his latest appearance at a rugby union clash between Wales and New Zealand.
Officials spotted Jarvis trying to pose as a member of the All Blacks side at the Principality Stadium on Saturday, just before the first of Wales' four autumn internationals got under way.
Jarvis was wearing a full New Zealand kit complete with black face mask and "Jarvo 69" on the back of his shirt, and waved to the crowd as he was hastily removed from the pitch.
He clearly hadn't convinced officials that he was supposed to be there, just like how he failed to do so at Lord's.
After strolling onto the pitch and trying to blend in with the India team, he protested his innocence to those who had jogged after him to take him away.
He tried to convince security he was a member of the team by pointing to the badge, which had India bowler Mohammed Siraj in stitches as Jarvis was removed from the ground.
His pitch invasion during the fourth Test at The Oval had more serious consequences, though, as Jarvis was arrested and charged with aggravated trespass after appearing to collide with Jonny Bairstow after running onto the pitch.
He later denied the charge at Croydon Magistrates' Court, and was granted unconditional bail ahead of a trial scheduled for March 23 next year.
This latest incident in Cardiff could land Jarvo 69 in more legal hot water, though that didn't stop him boasting about what he had done on social media afterwards.
"I just made my rugby debut for New Zealand facing the mighty Wales!" he wrote on Twitter, alongside a photo of him in his All Blacks kit outside the Principality Stadium.
His latest stunt comes after he interrupted the Jacksonville Jaguars vs Miami Dolphins clash in London earlier this month.
