England coach Richard Cockerill believes Wales will be ‘galvanised’ by mutiny in the ranks as their players consider strike action.
Sportsmail revealed players are considering a walk-out ahead of next week’s Six Nations fixture amidst financial chaos around contracts.
Cockerill said: ‘I think if anything it will probably galvanise them because they have their issues.
‘I don’t really understand what the politics of it is but from my experience any hardship with a playing group generally brings them tighter together.
‘England have always found it difficult in Cardiff but we are preparing and getting our minds purely around that. What Wales are doing with their players is not really our concern.

‘If players feel they have to stick up for themselves they stick up for themselves and do what they have to do.
‘From an England end we are concentrating on training this week and we know how difficult it is going to be going to Cardiff.’
England are hoping to welcome back vice captain Courtney Lawes for the trip to Cardiff.
Lawes has not played for England since July and has limited game time at his club, but Cockerill insisted there would be ‘no concern’ about fast-tracking him into the team.
‘Courtney has done parts of training this week,’ said Cockerill. ‘He’ll take full part tomorrow and leading next week he should be taking a full part in training. Hopefully he’ll be available for selection.
‘He’s an experienced player and he’s had long injuries previously and come back in and played well, for both club and country. So that doesn’t really concern us when it comes to a guy of his stature.’
