England look to have beaten Wales to pocket-rocket scrum-half Harry Randall, with the Bristol No 9 set to be included in Eddie Jones’ Six Nations squad.
The Slough-born 23-year-old grew up in the Amman Valley in Wales, where his parents still live, but moved to Hartpury College as a teenager and then Gloucester before switching to the Bears.
And his recent stellar performances have turned heads in Wales and England as he qualifies for both countries.

But sources have indicated to Sportsmail that 5ft 8in Randall has made his choice to plump for England.
He will likely join two other scrum-halves, Ben Youngs and Dan Robson, in Jones’ 28-man squad selected on Friday evening.
Randall himself told Sportsmail in December: ‘Wales played a big part in my childhood, so I’ll never forget that. I had a great upbringing there. Wales will always have a place in my heart but I do class myself as English as I was born in England and have English parents.’

When picking his own Welsh squad on Wednesday Pivac commented: ‘He’s a very good player. We’ve been to a lot of Bristol games so we’ve seen him and know he’s an ex Scarlet boy.
‘We know his background but we also know he has English parents and is very proud about that fact. At the moment we’re leaving Harry and it’s a decision he will make when and if he is selected by one or other country.’
As revealed earlier this week it is expected Wasps power-runner Paolo Odogwu is included too in Jones’ slimmed down squad which will link up at St George’s Park in Burton next Wednesday.
England face Scotland at Twickenham on February 6 to kick off the defence of their Championship crown.
