Wales centre Nick Tompkins also starts for Saracens while rookie England forwards Joe Heyes and Ollie Chessum are in the Leicester XV.

Eddie Jones did not include Ford in his squad for this week’s training camp in Bristol so he could regain match sharpness at his club, after he was an unused substitute in the win over Wales.

Marcus Smith is certain to be retained as the main playmaker against Ireland at Twickenham next Saturday but Daly, another omission from the camp in Bristol, could be usurped in England’s midfield by Joe Marchant.
