Toutai Kefu stabbing: Third teenager faces attempted murder charges
A third teenager has been charged over an alleged home invasion that left rugby union legend Toutai Kefu fighting for life.
Police allege Mr Kefu and three of his family members were injured by a group of intruders trying to steal a car from the Kefus’ Coorparoo home about 3am on Monday.

Police further allege the group was involved in a burglary earlier that morning where a silver Hyundai was allegedly stolen from a Forest Lakes address.
Mr Kefu suffered serious abdominal wounds that required lifesaving surgery after allegedly being stabbed.
His wife and two children were also seriously injured.
A 15-year-old Browns Plains boy has been charged with four counts of attempted murder, three counts of assault causing grievous bodily harm and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, break and enter, burglary and deprivation of liberty.
He has been refused bail and will appear in Brisbane Children’s Court.

Police also located the allegedly stolen Hyundai at Springfield Lakes.
Another 15-year-old boy, from Goodna, fronted court on Monday after he was arrested at the scene.
A 13-year-old boy also faced court on Tuesday charged with two counts of burglary and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Mr Kefu said on Wednesday he was “doing well” following his hospitalisation and was “very grateful” for the outpouring of support from the community.
