Bevo explains Daniel’s injury
Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge explained Caleb Daniel’s injury on Channel Seven pre-game:
“Caleb’s had stuff going on with his knee for a long time,” Beveridge said.

“Quite abruptly on Tuesday just out walking with some teammates [he] felt some catching, had some scans, had to go in and have some surgery. That happened really quickly unfortunately.
“We will miss him for probably three or four weeks, and it will be a challenge for us to create out of our back end because he does it so well. Then fill his boots in some way, shape or form. That’s another little subplot tonight.”
