Game time changed to 8.05pm
There has been all kinds of drama on the road between Brisbane and the Gold Coast with both the Lions and Tigers’ team buses stuck in a traffic jam due to an accident.
The AFL has pushed back the game time as the Tigers were facing under an hour of preparation time.
The AFL statement:
“The AFL advises the Richmond vs. Brisbane Lions match will commence at 8:05pm AEST (formerly 7:50pm AEST) tonight, Friday July 16.
Both clubs are currently commuting from Brisbane to the Gold Coast where they have experienced significant traffic delays.
The decision to push the game back 15 minutes has been made to provide teams with adequate time to prepare for the match.“
