Australia’s Jack Miller hopes to win the MotoGP championship
Australian MotoGP star Jack Miller is still holding out hope he can win the championship this year despite setbacks in recent races.
The Ducati driver crashed out of the race the Red Bull Ring on Sunday but is confident he can return to form in the Austrian Grand Prix at the same circuit this weekend.

The 26-year-old is fifth in the championship standings, 72 points behind leader Fabio Quartararo, with seven races left on the calendar.
He is looking to regain the form that saw him win the Spanish and French Grand Prixs, and secure third place at the Catalan Grand Prix.
“The championship is the main goal, that’s what I’ve said all along and there’s a lot of races to go,’’ Miller said.
“I’ll just hit the reset button. Easier said than done but I feel I’m in a good position, I feel fit and strong and should be able have a decent week.’’

Miller’s skill on the bike will be exposed to a whole new audience of Australians from next year, with Foxtel and Kayo announcing a five-year agreement to broadcast MotoGP exclusively.
The landmark deal will see every MotoGP practice, qualifying and championship race shown live on Foxtel and Kayo from 2022 onwards.
Miller will be joined in the MotoGP next season by fellow Aussie Remy Gardner — who is currently on top of the Moto2 standings — and he is delighted Australians will be able to watch them in action
It’s awesome what Fox Sports is doing along with Kayo,’’ he said.
“Especially next year when we have two Aussie guys on the grid from a country that’s relatively small in terms of road racing.
“It will be really good and five years is great. It’s mega news.’’
Foxtel’s Chief Content and Commercial Officer Amanda Laing said 2.4 million households are watching sport on Foxtel and Kayo, up 26 per cent on last year.

“Kayo has turbocharged this growth, attracting a new legion of fans.
“The 2021 season is up 28% on last year and featured the record-breaking MotoGP Spanish
GP, won by Australian Jack Miller and watched by almost 180,000 fans.”
In addition to the MotoGP deal, Foxtel has announced a renewed agreement to show every race of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship live on Foxtel and Kayo from 2023.
Revheads can rejoice, with Fox Sports the only place Motorsports fans can watch every race of MotoGP, WorldSBK, Supercars, Formula 1, World Rally Championship, NASCAR, INDYCAR and Formula E.
